C2100Z offers a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, allowing for a single CPE on either DSL or GPON network. In DSL mode, this port functions as a Gigabit 5th LAN port. The new RGs deliver speeds of up to 1.7 Gbps over 5Ghz and 300 Mbps over 2.4Ghz, rated at AC2050. Its dual-band WiFi features include Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) and Beamforming for simultaneous, lag-free streaming and gaming. High-powered Wi-Fi on both 5GHz and 2.4GHz APs extends coverage, offering the best wireless experience for homes with a growing number of Wi-Fi devices. It also allows users to create multiple Wi-Fi networks with up to 4 SSIDs to easily create separate WLAN networks for video, data, and guests.

The C2100Z is compatible with CenturyLink Service and functions as a Modem & WiFi Router Combo Device, eliminating the need for extra equipment. It also supports VDSL2 and ADSL/2/2+ bonding, providing 200Mbps download speeds and 100Mbps upload speeds.
